Electronic Chart Display and Information System course meet the specifications laid down in 2010 Manilla Acts of the STCW, particularly concerning Code A, Section A-II/I, Table A-II/I, Section A-II/2, Table A-II/2 & Section A-II/3, Table A-II/3 & code B, Section B-I/I2, Paras 36-66 & Section B-II. The applicant must fulfill training in the Navigational control & development of ECDIS based on guidelines provided in IMO Model Course 1.27.
